Assistant Superintendent Julie McBride presented results from the spring 2024 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) covering English Language Arts and mathematics for grades 3–6 and 5th grade science. Mrs. McBride showed districtwide multi-year data, with both non-cohort and cohort breakdowns, and provided school-site level comparisons.
Mrs. McBride outlined next steps the District plans to take to increase student performance in both English Language Arts and mathematics and the Board provided feedback on those proposed actions. The Williams quarterly compliance report was also presented; there were no complaints for the July–September reporting period.
