The Sulphur Springs Union School District Board reviewed two conceptual site layouts for a new school in the Skyline Ranch community and directed staff to continue developing site layout option 1. Superintendent Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi introduced the presentation and said district staff have been preparing for the new school in coordination with TriPointe since 2016.
Scott Gaudineer, president/principal architect of Flewelling & Moody, presented programming considerations and two layout options; representatives from TELACU (Daniel Clem and Preeti D'Souza) participated in the review. The Board focused on building placement, accessibility and outdoor learning areas and provided feedback to refine option 1 in the next design phase.
