The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 Board of Education voted unanimously Aug. 22 to install Dr. Renada Greer as an appointed board member through April 2025. The motion to recommend installation was made by Stacye Saunders and seconded by Aimee Wigfall; the roll-call vote showed yes from Field, Saunders, Cawthon, Wigfall, McHenry and Roper.
Adam Henningsen administered the oath of office to Dr. Greer, who then took her seat at the board table. President Catherine Field welcomed the board's newest member during opening remarks. There was no recorded dissent or abstention on the appointment.
