At its May 28 meeting, the Alexandria Township Board adopted a consent agenda that bundled multiple routine finance, personnel and education items. The items approved include the financial reports and transfers for the month ending April 30, 2026; a bill list covering April 24–May 28, 2026 with total disbursements of $1,103,962.03; approval of bank accounts and signers effective June 1; and recordation of bus, fire and security drills.
The board accepted grants and donations recorded in the agenda: an Alexandria Township Education Foundation (ATEF) grant for additional swings ($8,971.25), a PTO donation of gym-floor artwork valued at $2,050, and an additional PTO donation of $7,479.75 for playground swings. The board also approved preschool tuition contracts for 18 students at $7,500 per year for 2026–2027 and scheduled kindergarten screening assignments for staff at the contracted hourly rate.
