The Litchfield Public Schools Board unanimously adopted a resolution on June 8 designating July 14 through July 28, 2026 as the filing period for affidavits of candidacy for the Nov. 3, 2026 school board election.
Board Member Darrin Anderson introduced and moved the resolution, which notes that three members will be elected to four-year terms. The affidavit filing fee is $2; affidavits must be filed in the office of the school district clerk by 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026. The clerk was authorized to publish the filing dates in the district’s official newspaper and to post notice at the district administrative offices.
Alex Carlson seconded the motion; the board voted in favor (Provencher, Mathews, Danielson, Anderson and Carlson) with one member absent (Oster).
