During the April 27 meeting the board approved several community donations to district programs and facilities.
Action A, introduced by Member Darrin Anderson and seconded by Chair Alex Carlson, accepted $800 from the Litchfield Eagles Club to support the Adaptive Bowling Program and $1,000 from Marsh and McLennan Agency for after-prom expenses. The board also accepted an electronic scoreboard for the facility labeled "Jurassic Park" donated by the Litchfield Youth Baseball Association with installation labor provided by Brandon Nagel.
The donations were approved by roll call with Members Mathews, Provencher, Oster, Anderson and Carlson recorded as voting "Aye." The board did not indicate any financial matching or recurring budgetary obligations associated with these donations at the meeting.
