At the April 27 meeting the Litchfield Public Schools Board approved a consent agenda that included multiple personnel hires and resignations.
Approved new hires include Alex Turck as a lifeguard (up to 40 hours/week at $13.50/hour, effective April 17, 2026), Juan Lopez as a student custodian (up to 15 hours/week at $13.50/hour, effective April 28, 2026), Andrea Pokornowski as a food service aide at Lake Ripley (5 hours/day at $18.87/hour, effective April 30, 2026), Jacob Elwell as a middle school football coach for the 2026 season at a salary of $2,727 per the master agreement, Lexi Barsness as a Dragon Kids Club aide (up to 40 hours/week at $15.00/hour, effective May 1, 2026), and Emma Schroeder as a Special Education teacher at Lake Ripley starting August 26, 2026 at BA, Step C ($47,820) to replace Jill Good.
The board also accepted resignations from Blake Aller (Title One Para at Lake Ripley, effective June 1, 2026) and Whitney Lind (Special Education Teacher at the Middle School, effective June 2, 2026, pending approval of new employment on May 11, 2026). The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Darrin Anderson and seconded by Tim Oster; the board recorded the motion as carried 5-0.
