Board authorizes proceeding with Heartland Video Systems quote for surveillance upgrade

District staff member Eric described the condition of the school’s surveillance cameras and said they need upgrading. The board then motioned to proceed with obtaining/accepting a quote from Heartland Video Systems for a new video surveillance system. The motion, made by Vice-Chair Ron Saxton and seconded by Haley Wentz, passed by unanimous roll call.

Minutes record the authorization to proceed with the Heartland quote but do not include the dollar amount of the quote or contract terms; board approval at this stage authorizes staff to move forward with the vendor quote process.
