Assistant Superintendent Dr. Tasha Katsuda and Director of Student Services Denise Wright presented the District Equity Advisory Committees annual report during the May 27 work session.
The presentation included remarks from CTE regional program manager Kealani Malfour and CHS student Izabella Moreno Ventura. Staff described the committees purpose, membership composition, progression of its work over the year, what the committee learned, and student and parent perspectives gained through participation. Committee members answered board questions and outlined next steps for continuing the work.
Board members thanked staff and committee participants for their work and congratulated them on the progress reported; no formal action was taken.
