Rotary Club donates $4,000 from Music and Art in the Park to LaSalle

Representatives of the Rotary Club presented a $4,000 donation to the city from their Music and Art in the Park event. "We'd like to present a check, for $4,000 to the city of LaSalle," said Chris Vaske, identifying himself as treasurer for the Rotary Mark Foundation and speaking on behalf of the Rotary Club of LaSalle. He said the event included many bands, food vendors, about 10 volunteers, and support from the mayor and community.
Council members thanked the group for the contribution and for organizing the summertime event that runs in Pulaski Park. The presentation was informational and no council action was required beyond acceptance and thanks.
