Cascade High School will send four students to the National DECA Convention in Orlando from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2026 after the board approved the out-of-state trip request. Principal Rasmussen and staff described student-led fundraising efforts — vending machines and merchandising — that helped fund the travel.
Mr. Rasmussen identified Stuart Foster as the staff chaperone; one parent will also serve as a chaperone. The board approved the trip by a unanimous vote (minutes record "Motion Carried (all voted yes)").
