Jonathon Rush, regional planner with Southeast Tennessee Development, notified the Spring City Planning Commission that a correction is needed in the city's zoning ordinance. Specifically, Rush said Section 5.05 should refer to Section 9.07A rather than 10.07 and that ordinance language should include provisions so commercially zoned districts may contain multiple buildings.
According to the minutes, Mr. Rush "will bring an ordinance amendment draft to next month's meeting." The commission did not record further discussion or a vote on the proposed wording at this meeting; Rush's presentation was recorded as an item of new business and an ordinance amendment draft was requested for consideration at a subsequent meeting.
