Board approves three 2025–2027 labor agreements

Minutes record a unanimous board vote to approve the 2025–2027 Paraprofessionals Agreement; the board also approved the 2025–2027 International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 70 Agreement and the 2025–2027 Licensed Practical Nurses, Local 12 Agreement. The motions carried on recorded 7-0 votes.
Why it matters: Ratified collective bargaining agreements govern employee terms, wages and working conditions for covered staff for the 2025–2027 term and will be administered by the district’s Human Resources and Finance departments.
What’s next: The agreements take effect per their terms; administration will complete implementation tasks and payroll adjustments as appropriate.
