Board approves Bonanza/Lost River athletic collectives and cooperatives for wrestling and soccer

The Klamath County School District board approved athletic agreements enabling Bonanza and Lost River to combine programs for boys' and girls' wrestling and to form cooperative boys' and girls' soccer teams.
"I move we approve the collective applications for Bonanza and Lost River Boys' and Girls' Wrestling as presented," said Marc Staunton; John Rademacher seconded the motion and it passed 4–0. Jamie Ongman explained the distinction between an athletic collective and an athletic cooperative prior to the wrestling vote.
For soccer, John Rademacher moved to approve the cooperative applications, seconded by Katie Bruner; that motion also passed 4–0. The approvals allow the named schools to operate combined teams under OSAA or relevant participation rules; packet materials identify the applications and required documentation.
