The Watertown City Council approved a second-reading ordinance for a supplemental appropriation to the general fund and capital improvement fund and authorized budget line-item transfers.
Finance Officer Bob Zine told council the ordinance is a midyear cleanup that realigns departmental budgets; he said everything included had already been discussed at earlier meetings and that there were no changes from the first reading. Council moved, seconded and approved the ordinance on a voice vote.
Zine did not list individual transfer amounts during the meeting; the ordinance package provides the detailed schedule of transfers and appropriations for public review.
