On Oct. 27, 2025, the Morrow SD 1 Board of Directors voted to approve the use of the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) contracting method following a Findings of Fact read to the board by Scott Rogers of the Wenaha Group. Board Chair Richard Cole opened the special meeting at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom; the board established a quorum with seven members present and heard a brief question-and-answer period after Rogers' presentation.
Board member Ashley Lindsay moved to approve the CM/GC contracting method; Mary Killion seconded the motion. The board recorded AYES from Richard Cole, Brian Kollman, Becky Kindle, Mary Killion, Ashley Lindsay, Erin Anderson and Rosa Delgado and the motion passed 7-0. The meeting was adjourned at 6:21 p.m. The district announced its next regular board meeting for Nov. 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Irrigon Jr/Sr High School.
