Superintendent Aaron Duff presented a package of Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) recommended policy changes for the board's review. The list included required, conditionally required, highly recommended and optional policies: IKF (Graduation Requirements), JFCEB (Personal Electronic Devices), JO/IGBAB‑AR (Education Records/Records of Students with Disabilities), JOA (Directory Information), LBEA (Denial for virtual public charter school student enrollment), DBEA (Budget Committee — highly recommended), and others.
Duff asked board members to review the attached policy documents and bring any questions to the Oct. 13 meeting. He also announced the OSBA Fall Regional Meeting on Oct. 6, 2025 at Wildhorse Resort & Casino (Cayuse Room) and said staff (Janet) will make reservations for board members who plan to attend.
