Community member urges district to respond to records request and explain college-credit funding cut

Community member Mary Jo Evers used the public-comment period to press the district for information about a college‑credit funding cut at Ontario High School and to say her email to administration dated Feb. 8 had not been answered.
"I sent an email to the administration on February 8, and it has been over 20 business days, and she has not heard back from the district office," Evers said, and asked that the board honor her public-records request and make the Superintendent and Finance monthly reports available.
Chair Bret Uptmor asked Superintendent Nicole Albisu to provide the college-credit information to Evers. Albisu responded that "there was no public records request filed, just an email," and said the administration would work on producing the information with redactions as appropriate.
The transcript records no formal records-request filing; the superintendent committed to follow up and to provide requested information where feasible with necessary redactions.
