The state uses their own numbers there. And so if it's over 95, they don't report it," a presenter said.
Board members raised concerns about professional development scheduling because the district has no funded full-time substitute positions this year. Staff described plans to use in-service days and PLC Friday time to deliver training without pulling teachers from classrooms on instructional days. "We have 0 full time subs," a staff member said. Trustees discussed budget trade-offs if additional substitute capacity were to be funded.
