Donations boost back-to-school supplies, district officials say

"Donations, would like to give a thank you to Patty and Royal Bennett for $300 for, school supplies," the board heard during the meeting. The presenter clarified that the donated value exceeded some of the billed charges and that the district will show the remaining purchase on next month's invoice.
The discussion was part of consent and financial reports that also noted other small community gifts for classroom needs. Board members did not request further action; the consent agenda, which included routine financial items, was approved by voice vote.
