The draft 2025 capital plan includes multiple projects staff flagged for near‑term action, including an EV charging station, replacement of the administration building roof, and server and window replacement work.
Staff said the EV charging station contract is being finalized and construction is expected next year, and that the district has signed reimbursement agreements with Liberty for their share of electric service. "That project, we are working on finalizing the contract for that. It will go to construction next year at this point," a staff speaker said.
For the admin building roof, staff said the district will engage Ward Young to evaluate options and that window replacement may be considered as part of a package, pending a cost‑benefit decision. The committee also reviewed regular fleet and equipment rotation including an EV purchase tied to emission requirements and the addition of a wood chipper to the parts department.
