The Pendleton School District board approved a mult‑item human resources report during the consent agenda on Feb. 9. The report lists new certified hires such as Jennifer Henderer (Special Education Life Skills, SMS) and Brianna Kohr (Special Education, SHES); several classified hires and paraprofessional appointments across schools; extra‑duty coaching positions and volunteer coaches; and recorded resignations and leaves of absence.
The personnel list also recorded retirements: classified employee Angie Steidl (bookkeeper, SMS) and certified employee Rick Scheibner (counselor, SMS). Director Ryan Lehnert moved to approve the consent agenda; Director Anne Keeler abstained from the consent vote citing a family member in the AR Report and Director Jill Pace seconded. The minutes record the consent items as approved. A letter of appreciation will be sent to donors referenced in the grants section.
