Mayor Rob Herron reported progress on installing Christmas lights and maintenance work on street lights on Railroad Street and council members discussed whether to use a city-owned lift for installation and repairs.
During public comment, Nicholas Odorizzi shared positive impressions of the Christmas lights. Resident Karen Kauffman asked whether Grant PUD would assist with street-light costs; Clerk/Treasurer Kaci Anderson said no bill has been received from PUD.
Council discussed logistics and possible use of town equipment for ongoing maintenance but made no formal motion on procurement or equipment use during the Dec. 11 meeting.
