The Reynolds School District Board voted to adopt Resolution 2025-2026-020 at the Feb. 25 meeting to transfer $1,220,000 within General Fund appropriations for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025.
The resolution reads in part: "BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Reynolds District No. 7, Multnomah County, Oregon, pursuant to ORS 294.456, hereby transfers $1,220,000 within General Fund appropriations in the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025." Director Patty Carrera moved adoption of the resolution and Director Francisco Ibarra seconded; the motion passed with a roll-call tally of Yea: 6, Nay: 0.
Why it matters: The intra-fund transfer reallocates existing General Fund appropriations to cover increased charter-school obligations and is an administrative budget action the board may take under state statute to align appropriations with obligations.
