The Medford School District 549C Board voted on June 11 to cancel its regularly scheduled June 25 meeting after board members said the items planned for that docket had been moved to a June 18 Special Board meeting. "A motion was made by Johnsen and seconded by Caballero to cancel the June 25 Board meeting," the meeting record states.
Board Member Erik Johnsen made the motion; Lilia Caballero seconded. During the discussion members noted that four board members had indicated they would be available on June 25 but that the remaining business had been rescheduled, removing the need for the additional meeting. The roll-call vote was Johnsen: Yea; Caballero: Yea; LaNier McHenry: Yea; Spicer: Yea; Williams: Nay; Zbikowski: Yea; Ferguson: Yea. Result: Motion passed (Yea: 6, Nay: 1).
