Shonda Bennett, land development staff, told the board the amendment is permitted in other use tables and that staff recommends approval; the Planning Commission had recommended approval 7–0.
There were no public speakers on the expedited second reading. The board voted to adopt the text amendment, aligning allowed uses in the Southeast Polk selected area plan with other code sections.
