Board acknowledges district proposal and approves MOUs with CSEA Chapter #298

The Board acknowledged receipt of the Sulphur Springs Union School District's initial proposal to the California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter #298 for 2024‑25 contract negotiations. The acknowledgement was made by motion (Weinstein/DeFigueiredo) and approved by voice vote 4‑0 with Trustee Paola Jellings absent.
Trustees also approved a Memorandum of Understanding updating the job description and salary schedule for the Instructional Assistant, State Preschool position and a separate MOU setting the salary range for the Student Information Data Specialist position. Both MOUs were presented by Dr. Jay Greenlinger and approved by unanimous voice vote recorded in the minutes. No public comments on these personnel MOUs were recorded.
