Assistant Superintendent Julie McBride told trustees the district intends to operate State Preschool at Canyon Springs, Leona Cox and Mint Canyon community schools and submitted the annual continued-funding application for 2025–26. The board adopted Resolution R-24-65 by a 5-0 voice vote to authorize submission of the application.
Separately, because the State Preschool sites closed during the November outages, the board approved Resolution R-24-66 to request credit for the lost instructional days under Education Code provisions. Staff will include the closure documentation with the district’s continued-funding and attendance-waiver filings.
