The board approved the agreement on a roll-call vote after a motion by Dr. Renada Greer and second by Aimee Wigfall.
According to the minutes, the cooperative operates similarly to the district's insurance cooperative and several neighboring districts already participate. The agreement is intended to enhance cost-effectiveness in the district’s food-service program; the board recorded a unanimous yes vote on the motion.
