Councilmembers agreed to hold a Rules and Procedures workshop at 5:30 p.m. on March 17, 2026, preceding an Open Public Meetings Act training session at 6:30 p.m. City Clerk Maureen Crabtree told the council that the OPMA training will be treated as a public meeting but that no public comment will be taken during the training.
Councilmembers said a workshop is needed to collaborate on council rules and procedures and requested parliamentary procedure reference materials be included in future binders. The workshop will give each councilmember an opportunity to provide input before formal adoption of council rules.
