Parent raises start-time concerns; superintendent says early signs show improved engagement

She told the board staff report improved morning energy and class engagement at middle and high school sites and said the district is reviewing whether a $70 after-school fee could be a barrier for some families. Board member Jeff Johnson invited community members to contact him directly and said the board will continue monitoring attendance and engagement data.
