Superintendent Erika Bare told the board the leadership team completed the district—first scorecard exercise and is encouraged by progress across four strategic-plan pillars: supported students, empowered staff, family and community partnership, and modern and safe facilities. Bare said PLCs are active in every school, ECRI literacy practices are expanding and an attendance module is providing notifications and tools to support families.
On enrollment, Bare reported current district enrollment at 1,391 (CMS 270; CVS 205; SUHS 427; MCE 248; TCE 241) and noted the district is down by 34 students from projections. She said enrollment estimates for the 2026—27 school year must be filed by January, and the business office is monitoring numbers to determine potential state reporting obligations.
