Tri City Elementary lays out targets to boost student outcomes in 2025–26

Camron Pope, principal of Tri City Elementary, told the board Nov. 5 that the school will target substantial academic gains in 2025–26. Pope said the school aims to increase the share of students scoring "At" or "Above" benchmark from 40% to at least 65%, reduce the "Well Below" group from 43% to 20%, and shrink the "Below" category from 17% to 15%.
The presentation also set OSAS assessment goals: reduce the "Does Not Meet" category from 23% to 10% and the "Nearly Meets" group from 26% to 16%, while maintaining at least 51% of students in the "Meets/Exceeds" categories. The targets were presented as school-level goals tied to ongoing professional learning communities and intervention strategies noted elsewhere in district planning.
