Clerk Denney outlines four scheduled budget workshops, asks departments to prepare

City Clerk Denney opened Oroville’s Sept. 24 budget workshop and said the city has scheduled four budget workshops for the 2024–25 cycle. "4 budget workshops have been scheduled this year ~ September 24th, October 8th, October 22nd and November 12th – all beginning at 4:30 pm," Denney said.
Denney walked the council through the city’s workbook and asked councilmembers and department heads to review the materials before the next session. She requested that department heads "present their requests during the next workshop," signaling that the Oct. 8 meeting will focus on departmental presentations and follow-up questions. The next scheduled workshop is Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.
