Lorena Woods, listed as Dean of Students and Athletic Director, told the board about Homecoming Week plans, Positive Behavior Reflection Sheets, Win Pin Day and Tiger Time nominations. On athletics she reported on Special District proposals, redistricting/reclassification proposals, HUDL subscriptions, program sponsorships and that about 125 student-athletes are participating in fall sports.
In action, the board approved the Boys Cross-Country Collective Agreement (motion moved by Nikki McCann; seconded by Devin Bailey) and approved an extended FFA field trip for Oct. 5-6, 2025 (moved by Nikki McCann; seconded by Karen Johnson). Both motions carried unanimously.
The athletic report and approvals place seasonal operations and activity logistics on the district's near-term calendar ahead of Homecoming.
