Stanfield School Board approves health materials, athletics agreement and FFA trip; superintendent presents annual integrated plan

The Stanfield School Board met Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, and approved several routine agenda items, including adoption of K-12 health instructional materials, a boys cross-country collective agreement and an extended FFA field trip scheduled Oct. 5-6, 2025. Scott Morris, chair of the Stanfield School Board, called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Superintendent Beth Burton presented the district's 2024-25 Integrated Plan Annual Report and recommended that the board participate in the IMESD consortium for a District Equity Committee. Administrators also reported on enrollment, testing and athletics ahead of the school's Homecoming activities.
On the consent agenda the board approved minutes from Aug. 6, 2025, August 2025 bills and financials, items listed as first readings for policy and deletions where noted. Nikki McCann moved to approve the consent agenda; Karen Johnson seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Action votes recorded in the meeting included: approval of the Boys Cross-Country Collective Agreement (motion moved by Nikki McCann; seconded by Devin Bailey), adoption of K-12 Health Instructional Materials (moved by Devin Bailey; seconded by Cecili Longhorn), and approval of an extended FFA field trip for Oct. 5-6, 2025 (moved by Nikki McCann; seconded by Karen Johnson). All motions carried unanimously.
