Board approves second readings of multiple policies in single motion

The board unanimously approved second readings of multiple governance and operational policies during its Dec. 16 meeting. The policies taken together included BBB (Board Elections), BBBA (Board Member Qualifications), BBD (Board Member Removal from Office), BBE (Vacancies on the Board), DN (Disposal of District Property), IICA (Field Trips and Special Events) and IICAA (Trips).
Mr. Anderson moved to accept all policies listed under Agenda Item 7.1 and Mrs. Allison seconded; the minutes record "No Discussion. Motion passed 4-0." The approvals were taken as a bundle on second reading; the board did not record separate debate on individual policies during this meeting.
The district will publish the updated policy language with the board materials. Board members were also told to expect multiple additional policy updates on upcoming agendas as part of a scheduled review process.
