On Feb. 12 the Wilson Creek Town Council carried a set of routine approvals: corrected minutes for the Jan. 14 meeting, payroll and claims payments, and a resolution authorizing the surplus of a platform lift.
The minutes record a motion by Councilmember Shirley Billings, seconded by Councilmember Raymond Kelby, to approve the Jan. 14 minutes with a corrected header date. For fiscal matters, Councilmember Kellie Ribail moved and Councilmember Karl Hinze seconded a motion "to approve the Town’s current fiscal status, monthly bank reconciliations, and pay the bills"; payroll and claims listed were: payroll check #11780–11788 $2,031.88; claims check #11789–11798 $12,852.96; EFT payments $2,078.25; total $16,963.09. Reported bank balances were U.S. Bank $267,485.05 and Grant County Treasurer $124,037.67 (total $391,522.72).
Separately, the council approved Resolution 2026-03 authorizing the surplus of a platform lift; the motion was made by Councilmember Scott Mortimer and seconded by Councilmember Kellie Ribail and recorded as carried. The minutes do not include roll-call tallies for these carried motions.
