The La Habra Heights Planning Commission unanimously approved the minutes from its May 26 meeting and received the Community Development Departments June status report.
Planning staff reported 11 building permits issued in June with a combined permit valuation of about $1,300,000 and permit fees collected just over $43,000. Staff said there were 17 active code-enforcement cases, three stop-work orders issued and 49 active unpermitted-construction cases; the department closed three code-enforcement cases that month and approved two planning projects.
The motion to approve the minutes was moved by Laura Hess and seconded; the commission voted to approve the consent item. Commissioners asked follow-up questions about several long-running code-enforcement sites and requested staff verify that specific cases appear in the written report.
