Superintendent Matt Combe told the board on Jan. 12 that the district's end-of-December 2025 enrollment was 2,140 students, about 80 fewer than the same point in the prior school year. Combe said the district is currently +22 on inter-district transfers (incoming vs. outgoing) to date and noted that a seasonal drop around the holidays is a historical trend.
Combe also reported the district is moving forward with the UMCHS property purchase process as had been reported in prior packets and presented a certificate recognizing the Morrow County Sheriff's Office for its partnership and service in school safety. Staff said detailed financial monitoring will continue as state and federal forecasts evolve.
