The board approved a requested right-of-way easement from Green Brick Development to construct Bear Pen Arterial Road along the property line south of Royce City High School. The proposed road will connect to FM 35 and FM 2642 and convert a three-way stop into a four-way stop near the campus.
Brie Kaiser, representing the developer, told trustees that in exchange for the easement the developer will provide five 50-foot trailer parking stalls to serve agricultural parking needs adjacent to the AG Barn. Trustees asked a few clarifying questions about the design and materials; administration said the new stalls will be graded and concrete. The motion to approve the easement passed unanimously.
