Royse City ISD swears in Summers and Morales, reorganizes board leadership

During brief remarks after the swearing, Morales said she was honored to serve and pledged to prioritize student outcomes and collaboration, adding that she was "very, very happy to be home and taking on this role." Board members recognized outgoing president Scott Muckenstern for seven years of service with a certificate of appreciation and a gift card. All leadership nominations were approved unanimously by the seven-member board.
