Board approves several policy changes, rescinds policies and discusses superintendent evaluation

During the June 15 meeting the board approved several policy actions and discussed the superintendents evaluation.
On motions recorded in the minutes the board approved policies 525, 608, 609 and 619 and voted to rescind policies 414.1 and 541; all votes were recorded as Yes by roll call. The board also held first readings of policies 615, 625 and 630 and discussed rescinding policies 422 and 630.1.
Chair Matt Moehrle read a prepared statement from the board on the Superintendents end-of-year evaluation and the board discussed potential evaluation goals for the coming year. The board identified three takeaways for the meeting summary: the Spring Activities Report, the Riverview Intermediate construction update, and the Superintendent Evaluation update.
Several of the policy actions were ratified by unanimous vote; where policies were only at first reading no final action was taken.
