Students and activities leaders highlight spring season achievements

At the June 15 meeting Activities Director Bruce Thompson and student representatives presented a Spring Activities Report summarizing accomplishments from the season.
The report included highlights from girls softball, girls and boys golf, boys baseball, girls and boys track and field, robotics, boys tennis, clay target, boys lacrosse, speech and debate, and the spring musical. High school student and board representative Anna Parker "reported on the exciting things happening around the district," according to the minutes.
Board members recognized student achievements and noted that activities contributions and volunteer support from local businesses and organizations were integral to the seasons successes.
