At its June 15 meeting the board approved consent agenda items that included multiple personnel transactions.
The board accepted resignations and releases for several employees (examples listed in minutes: Julia Bjerke, Oak Ridge Early Learning Center principal, effective 6/30/26; paraprofessionals and other classified staff with listed effective dates) and accepted the retirement of Randy Thompson, district custodian, effective Aug. 31, 2026. The consent action also authorized new hires and position changes, including teachers and long-term substitutes and ESY staff; individual entries in the personnel list provided compensation steps and effective dates for each hire.
The personnel actions were approved as part of the consent motion (motion to "APPROVE CONSENT ITEMS A.5.a-A.5.g" made by Emily Larson, seconded by Jen Smith; roll call unanimous). Superintendent Michael Rivard and administrators will implement the staffing changes ahead of the 2026-27 school year; the minutes note an interim principal for Oak Ridge Early Learning Center and an assistant principal for Sartell Middle School will start July 1.
