The Sartell–St. Stephen School Board approved a resolution accepting donations to Sartell High School that included contributions for clubs, athletics and scholarships.
Donations listed in the resolution included $6,000 from the Gene Haas Foundation for Sabre Robotics; $6,432.42 from the Sartell Playmaker Association for boys hockey; multiple smaller gifts supporting Unified Club Track & Field events and clay target and volleyball programs; and several scholarship gifts including $1,000 and $2,000 awards from community foundation funds. Treasurer Chelsea Thielen read the donations aloud before the board voted to accept them unanimously.
The donations will be applied to the designated programs and scholarships at Sartell High School as described in the board packet.
