Board adopts updated staff salary schedules to align with district pay

The Yosemite Valley Charter District Board unanimously adopted updated staff salary schedules on Feb. 19 after a presentation from Steph Johnson. Johnson told the Board the district had not increased salary schedules across positions for many years and emphasized aligning pay with surrounding districts and honoring staff work.
Johnson said most stipends have been incorporated into the pay scale and that teacher rosters are being reduced while base roster sizes will increase to 30 students. After the presentation Aaron Morgan moved to approve the updated schedules; Carrie Stumpfhauser seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
