Stanfield pushes OSABLA to raise 2A enrollment floor to improve scheduling and competition

The presenter added that the district expects OSABLA to hold an extra reclassification meeting and to reach a decision by Dec. 15.
The director also clarified football operates as a special district and shared current roster numbers: 15 baseball players and 17 softball players. Board members discussed competitive classification mechanics and a possible multiplier for private schools; no vote was taken and the board referred the matter to the athletics office for follow‑up with OSABLA/OSAA processes.
