Auxiliary services staff explained that the change order would modify the original planning services contract (originally $382,365) to include the construction GMP so that Metcon's contract covers preconstruction and construction services. A motion to approve the change order carried on voice vote.
Board members noted contingencies included in the GMP and the expectation that further change orders could follow during construction; no dissenting votes were recorded on the GMP or the change-order approval.
