Zillah approves interlocal agreement with Granger for building inspections

The City of Zillah City Council voted unanimously on Aug. 5 to approve Resolution 2024-31, authorizing an interlocal agreement with the City of Granger for building inspection services. Councilmember Beth Hustead moved the measure and Councilmember Doug Stewart seconded; the motion passed with all present voting in favor.
Mayor Carmack explained the city plans to procure building-inspection services from Granger under the interlocal agreement. The resolution authorizes the Mayor to sign and directs staff to finalize the interlocal contract terms.
